Once again, lost in the sea of articles.
Last week, I submitted the first draft of Chapter 2. My SV asked for the Chapter 1 (with correction made). Since I put all my effort on Chapter 2, I have put the Chapter 1 aside for a long time. Reviewing the Chapter 1, I just found out that the draft of Chap2 is not well written. Some of the part should be included in Chap1 but I put it in Chap2. Ishk... angry with myself... totally lost of direction in Chap2. Need to find a way to get back the right path.
Today, I realized that Literature Review is not simply reviewing some related and prominent literature. It is a reflective writing on the readings done on it. However, I have started my reading without a clear direction. Now, I need to get myself a clear direction on the reading first, then on the writing.
Let's continue the journey to the awaiting accomplishment.

Questions?
I knew that asking the "right question" is important and not easy.
Another important aspect is the person whom is expected to answer it.
I admit that I don't know how to ask the "right question". That is the reason for delaying my appointment with a lecturer. "What should I ask? How should I propose the questions/ doubt?" are the questions in my mind for several days. Errgh... it really makes me suffer.
At the end, I just asked the question directly to the lecturer. The answer I got is I need more readings regarding the question/ doubt that I proposed to her.
Hahaha, more reading. I'm gonna crazy by reading without direction.
Yes, I need direction. I need to figure out where is my direction in order to continue my writing. So, I need to ask question to myself to map out my direction.

Small Change
It's the little things in life that make a big difference! 3 principles:
- Small changes are easier than big makeovers.
- Small changes add up to big benefits over time.
- Small changes are more consistent with human nature.
Why write? To reflect on your life - to help you understand, express and explain your life. To entertain. To escape. To share. Writing helps you to clarify your thoughts and gets you in the habit of making more mindful observations, of thinking outside the box, and of deepening your contemplations.
Writng every day makes writing easier (not necessarily easy but certainly easier). That's because writing is like any exercise: the more regularly you do it, the easier it becomes, and the better you get at it.

Approaching the end of the year.
Submit the research proposal to my supervisor today. Suppose I should relief but I'm not because the consequences may not be expected. Yet, the end is another beginning. Hope that I can get through this kind of life.
Another 7 days, it will be the start of the month of November. I was thinking and try to reflect what I have done for the past few months in the year of 2010, a year with nice number. Well, I can't remember much of the things but my happy moments when attending MayDay concert and the "wo shou hui" at Sg. Wang. Another memory is about my working life as part-time tutor that nearly make me crazy as well. However, I've plan to get some part time job (no other but tutor also T_T) next year to earn some money for my trip and personal stuff.
The war still going on and we must continue to fight. That's y we should "aja, aja, fighting", hahahaha! ^^

Finally~~
Finally, I found the conceptual framework for Pintrich model on learning strategies. I'd been doubt by the question in my heart that what actually is the Pintrich model that mentioned by my supervisor. Each time I met my friends, especially those working now, will ask me this question: What is your research topic? At those moments, I can only answered them: "Learning strategies." and that's all. But until just now, I think I can answer more than that. At last, my doubt on the topic that i'm going to do research on it is solved. It had took me about 1 year time to figure it out, without the help from others. I'm glad that I found it before I need to submit the Chapter 1 to my supervisor.
Yet, this is just the starting point. There is still a long way to go. Hope that I can speed up the work too. ^^
